PW reports that 4-Day memberships to the upcoming San Diego Comic Con are now sold out. And they expect single-day memberships for Friday and Saturday will probably sell out as well.

As far as I'm concerned, this is actually *good* news. The convention has been WAY overcrowded for years now, at times resembling that old Star Trek episode where a bajillion people are just shuffling around because the entire planet is literally full of people. I wasn't aware that there was even a "cap" to the ticket sales, although it does make sense to cap it at the "fire marshall" limit.

(PS In other news, I'm pretty much keeping my public mouth shut about the comics news that hits much closer to home - selling of Cold Cut. But I do find it slightly amusing but entirely not unexpected that various people are speculating about this-or-that, without ever contacting us in any way, shape or form. It's not like we're hard to get ahold of, people!)

2. I understand the need/desire to keep quiet about the Cold Cut situation. I hope it resolves itself to your benefit and that of the industry as a whole in any case...and soon. I think, even with as little direct contact of any sort as I've had, it would be a bad thing to lose the company.
